The Farmed Seafood Extravaganza! at Catch Restaurant & Oyster Bar in Calgary showcased the wide diversity of fresh shellfish, finfish, and ‘sea plants’ farmed in Canadian waters to local news reporters, and brought together a diverse set of stakeholders from the food and hospitality sectors. Twelve original farmed seafood recipes were created by Catch’s Executive Chef Kyle Groves, and seven premium edition wines were graciously provided by Sandhill Winery of Kelowna, BC. Media coverage helped insure a positive ‘buzz’ about Canadian farmed seafood in the City of Calgary.
